mobile auto detailing

Once you are comfortable with the condition of the paint, it is time to think of a coating of wax. Wax functions as a paint preserver by helping it to retain certain oils which reduce oxidation. It also serves to protect from environmental hazards such as bird droppings, tree sap, smog and the sun's ultraviolet rays. And it gives paint the depth, gloss and richness that can make all those detailing hours worthwhile.
We use an orbital buffer for wax application, so your car's paint surface is absolutely safe. Some detailers use straight (non orbital) buffer to have job done much faster, but if one is not careful he risks "burning" the paint.

How Often?

mobile auto detailing in Phoenix, Arizona, waxing

We recommend that you wax your car once every two to three months - more if the car is exposed to harsh conditions. When it comes to deciding if it's time for a new coat of wax, the time-honored water beading test can't be topped. While you are doing the wash pre-rinse, notice how the water drops bead up. If the drops are more than one-half inch diameter, or if the water tends to form "sheets" as in the photo on the left, then a new wax job is a good idea. Give us a call at: 602-321-8016

MEGUIARS

Meguiars Car Care Products is one of the oldest names in car care. Meguiars has been making car care products since 1901 and today Meguiars is among the biggest car care companies in the world with recognizable products like Gold Class Car Wax, Meguiars professional, Meguiars Detailer Professional's Choice, ScratchX, and Show Car Glaze.

Did you know the first Meguiars wax was a furniture polish? Frank Meguiar, Jr., the founding father of the Meguiars, mixed the furniture polish one bottle at a time using an eggbeater. Once the first wooden automobiles were introduced, Frank saw a golden opportunity to expand his car care business. You could honestly say that Meguiars was around before the car!

Today, Meguiars is run by Frank’s grandson, Barry Meguiar. Over the last century, Meguiars has expanded from a small family operation to a huge family corporation with operations in Hong Kong, Toronto, Paris, and Sydney, as well as their base in Irvine, California. One bottle of furniture polish has turned into over 300 different products to clean, polish, and protect automobiles.
